During this phase the focus will be on preparing further for the development of a digital euro, building on the findings obtained during the investigation phase.
In your role as Head of Division for Positioning and Outreach, you will head a team responsible for positioning, branding, outreach and communication for the digital euro. This will entail developing the communication strategy in greater detail and executing it during the next phase, the objective being to foster the public’s understanding of and trust in the digital euro. Outreach and communication will support stakeholder management activities and will also seek to communicate directly with European citizens and merchants. You will also be responsible to develop a branding, positioning and communication strategy and plan to prepare for a potential issuance of a digital euro, with a view to supporting the product launch of the digital euro in all euro area countries.
To this effect, you will be responsible for building a team that would be able to deliver on the work for the positioning and branding of a digital euro and will deliver the related strategy and plan for a potential product launch, should the decision be taken to issue a digital euro.

- liaise closely with both internal Eurosystem colleagues and external stakeholders to have a solid foundation for the communication and positioning plan;
- manage the budget for both human resources and external consultancy.
The position offers you a unique opportunity to shape the future of central bank money by making it available also in digital form to all citizens and firms in the euro area and, in doing so, support the digitalisation of the euro area economy.
