Your team

You will be part of the Supervisory Technology and Data Section within the Prudential Domain Services Division of the Directorate General Information Systems). Our Division is split into three sections and has more than 70 staff responsible for converting business needs into innovative IT solutions and providing value-added functionalities to our customers, who include the ECB’s Macroprudential Policy & Financial Stability and Statistics business areas, ECB Banking Supervision and the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB). You will work closely with stakeholders in these areas, as well as with other project managers in the Directorate General and experts from the national central banks and national competent authorities.
Our product teams have end-to-end responsibility for the services they provide, from ideation and service inception through development, maintenance and support, to continuous improvement of the products concerned. This approach gives the product teams a high level of control over the services they manage. They also maintain a close relationship with the ECB business community, which is kept involved throughout the product lifecycle. Our business counterparts are an integral part of our product teams.

We are committed to ensuring the best possible user experience by applying Agile practices in building and running our services. We follow a Cloud-first approach, leveraging the immense possibilities offered by major Cloud providers, such as AWS and Azure, or local players. At the same time, we ensure that our systems remain entirely secure. We have adopted a DevOps culture, placing responsibility where knowledge of the product concerned is concentrated.

The ECB is an inclusive employer and we strive to reflect the diversity of the population we serve. We encourage you to apply irrespective of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.

Your role

As an IT Project Manager you will:

You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.
