Within ECB Banking Supervision these DGs are responsible for the ongoing supervision of significant institutions (SIs) and for overseeing the supervision of less significant institutions (LSIs).

As a trainee you will be part of a dynamic international team of experts in one of the areas below.

  • Indirect supervision of LSIs as part of a country desk, also dealing with crisis cases.
  • Horizontal banking supervision projects with the involvement of the DGs above.

You will be working in a challenging and inspiring environment together with international experts in the field of banking supervision. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens. Your assigned mentor will help you develop your technical skills and navigate the multicultural setting.
