We are currently consolidating our two major services/market infrastructures (TARGET2 and TARGET2-Securities) while exploring new technological and business initiatives.

The Financials team is responsible for the development and implementation of pricing policies, as well as the accounting, financing and billing/invoicing for all of the Directorate General’s projects and services.

The traineeship will allow you to familiarise yourself with the work of the Directorate General through varied tasks and projects. You will have your own assigned supervisor, but you will also be expected to use your initiative and work with a large degree of autonomy in order to complete your projects. You will be able to develop your potential and quickly have a tangible impact on the work we do.

The position offers you excellent opportunities to contribute directly to the work of one of the most dynamic and multifaceted areas of central banking, from both a business and a technological perspective. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.

You strive to know and anticipate stakeholder needs, and will signal any need for change and propose alternative solutions.
