We are currently working on an agile transformation and our product teams are transitioning to a BizDevOps methodology.

In your role as Technical Specialist you will be part of an experienced agile product team with seven members of staff responsible for maintaining and providing technical application support for the treasury management system (TMS). The team will also be working closely with the Directorate General Market Operations and other areas in which the TMS is used.

Your role

As a Technical Specialist in the TMS technical team, you will:

  • engage and collaborate with other technical support teams and the TMS testing and the TMS functional support team;
  • support the TMS production system in operations and test environments during tests and investigate any issues that arise;

We are seeking a candidate for this role who demonstrates the potential for growth, and we will support the selected candidate in their future development of the required knowledge, skills or competencies.

The position offers you excellent opportunities to be part of an agile product team and to work with the variety of technical components and the infrastructure that support the TMS. Providing technical application support will also give you a good understanding of the business processes implemented in the TMS. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.

Essential:

You engage collaboratively with others. You pursue team goals and learn willingly from other people’s diverse perspectives. You signal any need for change by explaining it and proposing alternative solutions. You analyse complex information effectively and can evaluate different views to arrive at solutions. You know and anticipate stakeholder needs.

You are motivated to be part of our team and to develop and use your skills and competencies to achieve the aims of this position.
