Your team

The ECB serves millions of people in the euro area by protecting the purchasing power of the euro and supervising banks. We strive to be a trusted world-class institution and offer a working environment that inspires our staff and supports their development. The system of banking supervision in Europe is the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM), which comprises the ECB and the national supervisory authorities of the participating countries. The ECB’s decisions on banking supervision are prepared by its Supervisory Board, made up of the Chair, the Vice-Chair, ECB representatives and representatives of the national supervisory authorities.

In your role as Senior Counsellor to the Chair of the Supervisory Board you will advise the Chair on a wide range of supervisory matters and assist her in her institutional and external responsibilities. You will also coordinate the Support Office to the Supervisory Board, which comprises the offices of the Chair, Vice-Chair and ECB representatives and is part of the Directorate General SSM Governance & Operations.

  • coordinate the Support Office’s cross-cutting tasks and projects as well as its financial and staff resources.

You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.
