In your role as Language Technologist/Terminologist, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting the work of the ECB’s translators and lawyer-linguists with computer-assisted translation software, keeping abreast of developments in the field of language technology and managing central banking and banking supervision-related terminology in all official EU languages.

Your role

As a Language Technologist/Terminologist you will:

  • identify new language technology tools and test their usefulness in the work of the ECB’s linguists and their collaborators;
  • participate in the quality assessment of machine translation output and its integration in the linguists’ workflow;
  • coordinate terminology extraction projects.

The position offers you excellent opportunities to further develop your language technology skills and machine translation exposure in a multilingual language service. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.
