Your team
You will be part of the Enterprise Domain Services Division in the Directorate General Information Systems. We are a team of around 35 members of staff providing IT solutions and services mainly by adapting and configuring commercial software solutions, with a strong focus on enterprise information management (EIM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP). We manage ECB and ESCB tasks and projects in our portfolios and also provide maintenance and functional support for other IT services.
In your role as IT Service Coordination Expert, you will be responsible for coordinating EIM services, e.g. DARWIN, ASTRA and related products, and overseeing operational activities with technical teams and service providers to ensure system stability and facilitate further development and enhancement. You will also help to ensure that system changes from activities and projects are properly designed and delivered in accordance with quality criteria before being rolled out.

Your role
As an IT Service Coordination Expert, you will:
- ensure that the relevant IT services match the agreed needs of the business by engaging and collaborating with all internal stakeholders;
- liaise with external suppliers whose products and services support the systems and underlying infrastructure;
- support the drafting of procurement materials and operational documentation;
- maintain and develop the EIM roadmap and oversee its implementation;
- identify business needs and define business cases in close collaboration with the relevant business areas and other IT teams;
- prepare test strategies, test plans and test cases, and coordinate test execution in accordance with project and release schedules.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
- a master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, information systems, computer science or another relevant field (click here for details on degree equivalences);
- in addition to the above, at least three years’ relevant professional experience as a technical expert, project manager, service manager, product manager or similar, including involvement in the successful execution of EIM-related projects;
- a strong background in EIM/DMS solutions;
- strong drafting skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and comprehensible manner;
- an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Desired:
- a strong background in IT architecture design and enterprise architecture;
- experience in procurement, tender management and/or contract execution;
- a good understanding of IT project management methodologies and IT project execution processes, preferably PM2;>
- experience with service management procedures and standards (e.g. ITIL and ISO20000);
- experience in formulating service level requirements.
