Your team

You will be part of the Talent Management Division in the Directorate General Human Resources. Our Directorate General has over 100 professionals providing services to more than 3,500 employees. We are currently in the process of creating a more agile HR function with a stronger customer orientation, enhanced people analytics and solutions that inspire staff across the organisation.

In your role as an HR Solutions Expert, you will be part of a dynamic division that allocates resources flexibly in smaller teams organised by domain. The primary focus of this position is in the Talent Acquisition and Career Development domain, which includes mobility, promotions, sourcing strategy, on-boarding, etc. This position is expected to contribute as well to the Strategic Workforce Planning and Performance Management domain. You will use your expertise and initiative to design solutions and drive change across the institution. 

You will work closely with experts from other ECB business areas and with HR professionals from national central banks and national supervisory authorities.

Your role

As an HR Solutions Expert you will:

  • Strengthen the existing talent management landscape as well as develop new HR solutions from the discovery phase to the roll-out phase and subsequently to change management;
  • Work on fully embedding the talent management portfolio within the organisation as well as adjusting it when needed to align with the organisational strategy; 
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders such as HR Business Partners and HR Analytics team in co-designing, delivering, monitoring and steering HR solutions; 
  • Collect and curate organisational needs in collaboration with business HR; 
  • Advise on policies and solutions to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications, experience and skills

Essential:

  • a master’s degree or equivalent in in a field relevant to HR management (e.g. human resources management, business administration, occupational psychology, organisational behaviour, employment relations or law) or another relevant field (click here for details on degree equivalences
  • in addition to the above, ideally 3 or more years’ experience in a broad range of HR topics, such as talent acquisition-related solutions (including onboarding and employer branding), career development, performance management/enhancement, mobility schemes, strategic workforce planning, among others; 
  • experience in designing, developing, implementing and monitoring HR solutions with adapted project management methodologies;
  • excellent drafting skills, and particularly, for addressing a wide variety of stakeholders including high-level decision-making bodies/stakeholders;
  • an advanced (C1)/mastery-level (C2) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages,.

Desired: 

  • experience with methodologies such as Design Thinking and Agile.
