This position offers you excellent opportunities to work on very technical topics with other highly skilled professionals. Your contribution could prevent digital security incidents from causing significant damage. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.

Essential:
  • a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in digital security or another relevant field (see How you can join us for details on degree equivalences);
  • knowledge of the work of a computer security incident response team;
  • a sound understanding of network protocols, operating system internals and cyber attackers’ tactics;
  • the ability to integrate, query and manipulate large datasets for analytical purposes, using common programming or scripting languages where relevant;

  • familiarity with tools such as Metasploit, Sysinternals Suite and/or Wireshark.

You engage collaboratively with others. You pursue team goals and learn willingly from other people’s diverse perspectives. You signal any need for change by explaining it and proposing alternative solutions. You analyse complex information effectively and can evaluate different views to arrive at solutions. You know and anticipate stakeholder needs.
