We are looking to fill a team lead position in the End-to-End Product and Delivery Division. This division consists of four teams: Functional Product Design, IT Architecture, Testing and Operational Readiness, and Sourcing, plus a Project Management Office.

You will lead the Functional Product Design team, preparing product design decisions, detailing end-to-end flows and defining user requirements and implementation specifications. Your team will determine how the digital euro service platform will deliver the functionality needed to provide payment services. You will be accountable for specifying the tasks performed by technical components procured by the Eurosystem and working with market stakeholders to develop implementation guidelines for the digital euro scheme rulebook governing interactions with intermediaries.

You will be responsible for managing and guiding your team in line with the plan for the preparation phase of the digital euro project.

  • managing the day-to-day tasks of team members, ensuring deliverables are achieved and milestones are met in a healthy and fulfilling working environment;
  • coordinating with other team leads to ensure cross-functional support is provided in the Division and the Directorate General.

The position offers you excellent opportunities to shape the future of central bank money available to all citizens and firms in the euro area and, in doing so, support the digitalisation of the euro area economy. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.
